Photos from Task 17. I used the magic eraser from Task 18 on the frame around the top left photo---grunged the edge a bit.

Huck has been visiting and went to the highest spot in the Valley to look out over the North and West brances of the Susquehanna River, where they merge to continue through PA and into MD to the Chesapeake Bay. It was a really hazy, cloudy day (totally different and very beautiful view on a clear day, but we haven't had one of those!) I think he enjoyed the air up there and the awesome view.

Oh, that adorable little monkey!! I do adore Huckleberry!

Absolutely gorgeous layout, Dot. I love the way you've taken the brightness of the Jubilant collection, and brought it to a soft romantic feel with the purple colors. The embellies are perfect! Well done!

This is lovely and your photos are gorgeous -- what a pretty view Huck visited and he looks so delighted to be there perched on the fence!

I love your beautiful background and the flowers in the corner are so pretty. I also really like how you put your journaling on the tag in the corner.

My... this is a different side to Huck; he's looks quite calm and thoughful. Of course that gorgeous view would make anyone stop and pause. Aside from all the wonderful ways you made this page, and that yummy Huck-colored background, my favorite part of your layout is the embellishments going "beyond the horizon" of your background papers. What a super idea! Thanks for the inspiration; this one's going straight into my favorites.

Love your angled background papers and colors. Love the embellishment, especially the iris. Now if you could get Huck to come down and take a few shots of YOU!

This is simply outstanding. You have such a wonderful sense of vision to be able to take a Collection of papers that includes clear, bright colors and turn those papers into such rich and elegant tones. You have an eye for bringing all of the items on a page together through complementary tones. Just amazing!

Love these super rich mystique colors to fit the sunset (rise?) and Huck. I really like the mix of graphic pattern and natural elements.

I do have to say, HANG ON Huck! ;)
