Great layout! Your photos are gorgeous and although I've been in the Washington monument (even walked down all those stairs as a Junior Girl Scout) I remember none of the facts you journaled so I really enjoyed reading about it all.

What a great page with interesting journaling. I knew nothing about early American history until I watched "John Adams" on DVD recently. I understand now why Washington is so highly revered in the USA.
