I never knew how much I would love my camera back then ~ so HAPPY to have digital to work with. Enjoyed the challenge, as always. Thank you for looking and leaving me some lovin'. I know the subjects would appreciate it too :-)

Oooh karis, read ur msg to me and instead of sleeping I have been searching for ur layout lol!! Obviously I like what u did with the title (!) but I especially love the textures and the quote... I can almost feel the richness of life in Italy :-) and just to spook u a little more about "soul sisters" I used to work in travel- specializing in guess where?! Italy and France :-) big grin! So I GET this layout! Love ur take on this challenge, u always have the most creative ideas!!

I'm not spooked ~ nor surprised...something has seemed to "click" between us :-) Living in Italy was a very rich experience ~ learning about another culture and being open to envelope it and become "one" with it are such profound actions. So glad I did. When I first visited Italy, I tried very hard to be clandestine when taking pictures. As I became comfortable with the language and the people (SOOOO warm and friendly), I simply asked them if I could photograph them. I have actually penned a short story about a homeless woman in Milan that I befriended and got to know more about ~ this came as a result of my newfound willingness, humility and confidence. No doubt you will see a layout with Sylvie someday :-)
