BarbaraC1977 Posted July 23, 2011 Great layout, and marvelous treatment for these dramatic photos. You've made the dramatic colors and flower shapes really sing together. Quote Link to comment

Belle Posted July 23, 2011 Joyce, your photos are stunning. I love your layout. The arrangment of your photos is lovely. In South Africa the Aloe is known as Red Hot Poker. There are very many different species of Kniphofia. They are indigenous to Africa. Quote Link to comment

Jane in N.Z Posted July 23, 2011 Love your photos Joyce it could be a NZ coastline with these flowers we know them as 'Red Hot Pokers' as well. We have quite a few South African plants here Your LO is superb with so much to look at with all the little embellishments tucked around the photos Quote Link to comment

Florida granny Posted July 23, 2011 Amazing photos, and I love how you've arranged them. I especially like how they look with your background and embellishments. The whole page is a joy! My dh and I visited Pacific Grove, which we thought was absolutely beautiful, but the flowers weren't blooming when we were there. It's nice to see them! Quote Link to comment

princessrunningfingers Posted July 23, 2011 Wonderful photos, and your placement of them is so pleasing. I like the way you made some of them into stamps. Love the ribbon running through the key. Quote Link to comment
Jster025 Posted July 23, 2011 As I told you the other day, this LO really caught my eye because of the coloring (even before I saw who the artist was!). It reminded me of my white & delft blue with red accent kitchen. You really captured some perfect shots of the ‘rockets’, getting the delicate shading of the deep, rich reds—something I have SUCH a hard time getting with my camera. And of course, my favorites are the ones where the red flowers are layered in front of the beautiful blue sky. But I also love all of the photos you used—which tell the story all on their own, even without words. Quote Link to comment
