Journaling Chat 8-8-11 Stopping by Woods

I had to use one of my all time favorite poems for this challenge:

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound's the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

~Robert Frost

Gorgeous photo, Theresa! That is one of my favorite poems too - I love the way you did your journaling on the torn piece of paper - it's a beautiful layout and I loved seeing the snow pic! Gosh, I never thought I'd want to see snow again after last winter but seeing your pic I'm now looking so forward to it!

Wow, such a gorgeous layout Theresa! I love your beautiful photo and how you raised it off the page..

I really like the background you picked and the snowflakes scattered all over. I especially like your poem and the blue parchment paper you typed it on.

Really a lovely layout!
