This isn't actually a grandmother's recipe - it is the one (as best I can remember) that my Dad used whenever Mom got a day off cooking - birthdays, Easter, etc. In later years he did a lot more cooking, but this is the one I remember from my childhood, processed foods & all.
The resizing didn't go well, but the full version looks much better.
