Cabbage Rolls

Ok, so this isn't my Grandma's recipe, but we had them at her house when her sister visited. I think the recipe came from my Great Uncle's mom.

Sometimes if I don't feel like putting all the effort into rolling the cabbage I will just chop a head of cabbage into big chunks and make it into a casserole or soup.

I used Brandy's Dazzle Collection + arrows from Valerie Foster's California Cool collection.

I like the slant to the green paper & the little arrow with directions is just so cute & clever. Good idea, too to make a casserole instead of rolling the leaves.

Your grandmother made these, right? I think that counts. You came closer than I did, I used a recipe of my Dad's.

I don't know that my grandma ever made it, it was my Great Aunt...who is a grandmother and the recipe came from her MIL

WE LOVE CABBAGE ROLLS, Julie - we call them Gulumpes - I think that might be Swedish? My recipe is similar and is from Rich's Mom - I haven't made them in a long while so will have to give your recipe a try this week. I loved your arrow pointing to the directions - so cute, so clever! Thanks so much for your very pretty card and for sharing your delish recipe!

This does sound yummy, especially making it like a soup with chopped cabbage. I'm a bit lazy so I will probably try the recipe that way. The arrow pointing to the directions is very clever! TFS
