This layout wasn't meant to be like this!! I went to bed with ideas of taking some photos today... then while I was laying in bed this morning I started thinking about "where you have come from and where you are going..."... and as I go in for surgery thursday it seemed fitting to do this "where I have come from" page which describes how unwell I have been and make it into a "where I am going" page - with my journey to wellness being shown in my outlook (a work in progress!) and my new me photo... I could have added photos of the before me etc but I have done that before (here) and my journalling took a lot more space than I thought it would...!! So... ignore that I don't have a pic of where I have been, my words prob do that better :-). TFL!!

Jode, I am so moved by this beautiful page and your beautiful spirit. How brave you are. I teared up as I read the account of your journey through cancer. I love the cheerful spin you put on your situation with the positive word art. Thank you for sharing your story.

Jode... I am speechless... I read your journaling on my tiny 13 inch screen and while your story is scary and sad, what touched me most deeply was your spirit and truthfulness.

I LOVE your take on this challenge and you are correct that your words and positive energy clearly show where you are going. So does your cheerful smile -- I know it's not always easy when you're feeling so yucky.

I am in awe of your story and outlook on life and your experiences. Your journaling is poignant and uplifting and I am honored that you shared it with us.

Your layout is beautiful - I love your background and all the pinks and two kinds of ribbons and their significance... I really like your blending of paper and photo - how gorgeous.

As it all is.. Thank you again for sharing your story with us. Holding many warm thoughts for your upcoming surgery - please keep us informed. Sending many hugs - take care.

Wow. I'm trying to think of what to say...as I wipe away some tears. What a wonderful layout. The "look" of it is fabulous. But, of course, the journaling...the journaling is what "makes" it. You write so well. And your spirit shines through. I'm not great at words and expressing my thoughts, just know that I think it's wonderful and thank you for posting it.

I'll be praying for your upcoming surgery.

Oh my God, you are amazing Jody. I have no idea what to write only that your story has touched me so much. Even though I am in tears it really is an inspirational story. Your Layout is fantastic. I love all the journalling too. What a great take on the challenge. Our thoughts are with you in this struggle but I know your spirit will carry you through. Lots and lots of big fat hugs. Kay

Goodness me Jode what a story you have to tell!! :jawdrop:

This is really a stunning LO. Very very cleverly done. The black and the pink are so dramatic but really go with the story you have to tell. That is a beautiful photo of you and you really do have a spirit that is shining.

I do pray that your surgery goes well for you on Thursday.

Thanks so much for doing the challenge and sharing such a deep part of you with us.
