I think I did a bit better job on this one, but I'm still not sure. I don't think I mentioned that i'm completely new at this, so these are my first attempts.
for some reason the borders/frames seem off to me, but what do you think?

I like the borders on your photos. I don't see anything wrong with your layout. In fact, I love it. I think I will have to scraplift this one. I like the arrangment very much. Well done.Love the photos.

I like the way you've picked up the deep rose color from the building on the left and carried through in the borders, the title and the ribbon underneath. Nicely done!

I think you did a great job on your layout! You've got some great photos to work with, so that always makes life easier! I think your layout is good - nicely balanced. The only thing I'd alter a little is your main photo. Maybe just put a background/mat on it? I only suggest it because with your nice, vignetted edges, it kind of blends in with your background paper. If you give it a little mat, you'd still have the nice edges, but you'd help that main photo pop away from the background paper.
If this is all new to you, I'd say you're on the road to doing some FABULOUS future layouts.
