It probably doesn't show up very well in the bottom photo but DH snapped a photo of the rain coming down and the long lawn we had to traverse to get back to where our car was parked.

Journaling:
On the last day of our vacation in Williamsburg,rain set in from the remnants of Hurricane Lee.
We were lucky to have had as good a weather as we did the first three days. Mike and I had
walked down to the James River, about a 1/4 mile walk and it started to rain really hard when
we got there. We were pretty darn wet by the time we got back to our car.

The pictures are lovely. The rain drops aren't quite visible on my screen, but the misty gray is. Love your title, lol! I also the torn paper layers and the possibly soggy looking frame. Glad you had SOME sunshine at least!

This is beautiful. The muted, grayed papers convey a rainy, colonial day very well. Nice use of the cluster behind the plantation house.

Neat page - I like the kind of colonial looking papers you chose. Great shot of the rain, although I'm glad I wasn't facing that walk (run?). I have a few photos from Hurricane Irene here, maybe I should make a layout for this challenge.
