Journaling: This is one of my favorite photos of my Grandma. She just looks like she’s having a great time. Even though she never learned how to swim, she always enjoyed wading in the shallow water. I sure wish I knew what was making her smile.

My Grandma has always been an inspiration to me. This is one of those pictures that just captures her essence. I don't know exactly how old she was here, maybe in her forties. She will be turning 102 in February, Lord willing!

Katie, this is just awesome! I love all of the colors you've used in the layout about your Grandmother - what a pretty lady she is! I love the polka dot watercolor paper background and the way you did your journaling in the half circel - those pretty flowers really pop with your colorful title. Very nice layout!
God bless your beautiful grandmother. I love the paper and embellies you used for this one.
What a treasured photo of your Grandmother. I like the journaling placed in the half-circle, and the colors and title are wonderful for the layout. Very nice!

The happy colors and patterns and the tilt to the the frame are all perfect for that photo of your happy and lively looking grandmother. She looks like she definitely "adds color to life"! I like the half-circle for your journaling, too. Beautiful layout!
