2011_10_14 Friday Challeng - SS Products-Colouring
Made with CS5.5, on a Laptop PC, with Win7
Description:
I got my colours from the leaves and the trees, with paint bucket, hue/saturation, gradient, styles,
I used the paint bucket to colour the background papers, along with a pattern. I also used some dodge and burn to grunge them up a bit. On one paper, I selected part of the pattern and deleted it to make a lacey paper and I also curled the corner.
I used Hue/Saturation on the Frog Closures
I used a gradient on the Forest Frames and set the layer to disolve.
I ussed Aged Metals, styles on the needle and a PS style on the thread. I also used Aged Metal on a duplicate of the scissors, then lowered the opacity to 60% and set to Soft Light.
I turned the ribbon b/w, then used Solid Color layer, set to Linear Dodge, with a much darker yellow, to get the light yellow, without as much dark at the folds. This tip was in the sixth anniversary tuts on YouTube by Brandy Murray.
I type the Letter S and the words for the tile, with the burnt colour from the leaves, then used Brandy's Background Blenders Brushset, with a yellow, to add addtional colour. Emboss and shadows were added.
