A Family Tradition

I love the color orange and even though it's one of my favorite colors, it still says "Fall" to me. I took these photographs at the cider mill last weekend and wanted to use them as the point of interest on my layout, so I didn't add anything except some simple journaling. I used the saturation feature to fade the large photograph. The small photograph is the same image. Both photographs were manipulated, color-wise.

This is fall-fabulous!! The background photo gives a vintage feeling of reminiscence, while the foreground photo brings it into the present--what a wonderful devise for expressing tradition. Brilliant! This is going right into my favorites!
Gorgeous! The whole page is the colour of cider - I can almost smell the apples. Great job!
Lovely! The blending is very well done. Great photo, this is the epitome of fall.
Great photos and colors. Lovely layout.
Love your fall colors! I agree with Rose - I can almost smell the apples! It's beautifully done!
Oh, this is such a gorgeous page! I love the warm, rich color and feel to your layout and your blending and color-work looks great!
    Beautiful!!! :)
Fantastic page. I love everything you did here.
What a gorgeous photo to work with! I love what you did with the brushwork. Bright orange was one of my high school colors, so I'm not a fan, but I love the shade you used here! Definitely fall to me!
    This is beautiful.
It looks like the cider mill is a very picturesque place! I love the color palette. It certainly does say "fall."
