Really enjoyed this-- If I did this every week, I'd get more layouts done.

Most supplies from ABR and BHA, will detail later--got to go to work.

I think _I_ need to do more layouts this way Barbara, lol...I've been dithering about an assignment b/c I just cannot get it to look "right."

Thanks for joining in and being such a good sport about not being allowed to move/change things:)

Your layout looks great and it's definitely fit for your family album!

Here, here! This was a great exercise in being satisified with a little bit at a time, a lesson in self-restraint and patience. I'm ready to modify my scrappin' habits!

You've done a fantastic job with this layout. I love the colors!

Love the matting and the ribbons, so smart! Really interesting page, I enjoyed looking at the details - the circles and the extra embellishments and I agree - the vintage coke sign is great!

What a fun page to look at -- really keeps my eye moving. Especially like your use of ribbons and great matting of your photos. Your pictures really tell the story. Great page!

LOL on your comment about "slow scrapping" process :)

This a such a great melding of colors and patterns and textures, Barbara - lots going on, but the focal photo (your DH?) jumps right out. Wonderful slow work! I didn't try this challenge, but I think I should.

I don't remember the details of your layout enough to see what is different; it looks about like I remember, sorry. I remember those great photos though. I think the blue brushwork is a nice touch if that helps. It draws the eye to the main photo & gives the lo a little extra dimension.
