Tuesday Freebie

I am so far behind, this is last weeks Tuesday challenge and it's Tuesday again. I had such a busy week I did not even know it was Natiotional Scrapbooking Day until the MOnday after. As you all say, Life got in the way. This is a photo of Bianca playing with the Great Dane puppy across the road from their house. I used only the shadow against the wall. I think it looks a bit Halloweenie (ha, is that even a word?)

We do not have Halloween in South Africa but I loved the freebies that we got that week and used them all on this layout.

Very cool, Belle. I love the eerie sort of feel to the shadow. And I did notice that you'd used ALL the Halloween freebies on this page...AMAZING! Nice job. So glad you joined the challenge.

Great page, Belle! I reallly like the silhouette! The colors are so rich and the pumpkins are adorable. I like the torn edge frame and the raven hovering around. Great job.

Well, you may not celebrate it but you certainly can scrap a mean 'Halloweenie' LO! I think it may be English in nature--All Hallows Eve. Since America was first colonized by England, I guess that's why it became such a big holiday here. And of course now it's such a big money-making machine. I remember back to my youth when costumes were so few and so simple. And we made most of them with clothes at home. Plus gathering our candy loot in grocery bags (the old paper type of course).

Anyway, great LO and using the shadow was a fantastic idea.

The photo is wonderful! What a great shadow. Perfect for the freebie. Love your background and embellishments, too. And, Halloweenie sounds like it SHOULD be a word, don't you think?
