I just found these photos today, in a box in the garage; pictures my sister had packed away before she died in 1994. Back in 1954, pregnant women weren't 'seen' too much. In fact, this was taken on my sister's 14th birthday (just several weeks before I was born), and mama was no longer allowed to chaperone the teen dances on Friday nights because it might scar the girls for life. Can you imagine?
