Monday 11-21-11 Challenge -- Eyes To See With

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew that this was the photo to use for it. I took this photo Saturday 11-19-11 at Cranberry Lake Preserve. I was taking pictures of the interesting trees when I hear this rustling sound. I walked around to the side of the trees and this is what I saw. I was speechless, as I had never been that close to a deer in the wild before. She was beautiful and busy feeding on flowers and shrubs. She wasn't afraid of me and just kept eating and moving closer.

What a great photo op!! Those deer can be so hard to catch, but you really got this one! Lovely layout, perfect for the challenge.

Oh I love walks like this, when you stumble on the unexpected. Great that you could get a close-up shot of t his, Carol. I like the blended photo mat you used here - the fall colors in keeping with the photo - beautiful job! Thanks for sharing the blessing of "seeing" this wonder!
