I live in the northern outskirts of Auckland and we are surrounded by the most beautiful beaches. Waiake beach is 2 min walk from my house and Long Bay beach is about 15min walk. The other beaches and the background one are about 3/4hr away. The East Coast where I live the sea is safe for swimming on the West Coast is great for surfing.

Oh my goodness, Jane. How fortunate you are to live by such spectacular beaches. I'm envious. I love the beach but live about as far from one as you can get in the U.S. LOL Your layout is gorgeous. The swirl tying the beautiful photos together is wonderful.
