Traditional originals
Just for grins, here are scans of the original paper pages I made for my granddaughter - extra shadows because I had to scan the LO in two passes in opposite directions, then "stitch" it together.
Before I Knew Your Name was a very hybrid page. The windows for the bits and pieces of Elizabeth were cut out of vellum, after I printed the lyrics. I distressed and inked the chalked edges to blur the cut edges of the photos. The angels were scanned from some Christmas gift wrap, and recolored - the original ink was gold. I have no recollection of how I recolored; I know I didn't have PSE then. Then I cut them out and used dimensional adhesive to adhere them and the ribbon linking them.
SOMEDAY was simpler - just a patterned background, two mats for the photo, and the journaling printed on vellum, attached with some flowers.
More information on the lyrics and journaling are on the pages which follow.
