This is the second layout for my inlaw's 50th anniversary book. How I do wish that I had a famiy photo from when my husband and his sister were little--snap those photos now, folks! They will be so precious to our children and grandchildren. You never know which digital dot will be a sentimental treasure in the future.

So, true Jaymee - my Mom always said she was waiting 'til we got a bit older to take a family photo -- and we never did.... :(

Your layout is lovely. I really ilke your pics and how you arranged them with the siblings together on top.

I also really like how you so beautifully framed the larger family photo and the gorgeous embellishment cluster you created.

Your background blending is beautiful and so is your title and word art. A warm a special page.. :)

This is such a pretty layout. I love that background and that pretty red frame and lovely photo cluster. Great photos too, and it is so true about taking photos. There are a lot of photos that I wish my mom had taken when I was a kid, but back then we didn't take photos except for very special occasions. Film was too expensive to have developed. Now with digital cameras, the sky is the limit on photos. I take photos of just about anything.

Beautiful layout.

This is lovely, Jaymee. I love the colors you chose, the border on the background and the overall composition of your layout. The flower cluster is gorgeous!

You're so right about the importance of taking pictures often, of everyday events. I'm lucky to have had photographer ancestors, so my sisters and I have lots of pictures of our parents and grandparents, and even some older relatives. But I have few of myself after about age seven, and fewer still of my sisters' childhoods (they're 5 and 10 years younger than I am.) I'd love to have had that gap filled. And I really need to scrap the many pictures we have of our own children. <_<

Great photos! I love your background papers and that beautiful flower cluster. The red looks great. Lovely page! Good advice about snapping photos! Thank goodness for digital cameras because we don't have to worry about running out of "film"!
