Journaling:
After attending Christmas Morning mass, we headed back to my parents’ house for breakfast and exchanging our family presents. The kitchen window overlooks the backyard. While we were inside enjoying an assortment of breakfast baked goodies that mom baked, the birds outside were dining on an assortment of seeds, nuts, and special suet, courtesy of my dad. They didn’t seem to mind the blanket of snow that covered the ground and was still steadily falling from the sky.
