For the Friday 111216 Challenge to scrap a family member or friend that you’ve never scrapped before. This is the highly potential new girl in our family and we’re all thrilled.

This challenge worked out perfectly, as I just finished this LO to include in my annual Christmas present of new pages to family albums for my sister/BIL and for my nephew.

Photos were taken on Erica’s first visit to Nashville when my nephew brought her home to meet The P’s. Even though October is practically part of summer in Tennessee, I loved using my new Autumn Treasure Collection by Angie for this LO. First LO of Erica and first use of the Collection

Note: The photo in the top left corner was a favorite of us all; however, it was too blurry to work on its own. I deleted a bit of it, used those wonderful photoshop blending modes; and presto, it fit right in (although I did have to work with other papers and the eraser to get rid of some of the texture).

I love what you did with the top photo. Great embellishments and colors. Really pretty layout.
I agree with Belle! Love the photos and the colors! What a nice car.
Such a lovely page! Love what you've done with your less than perfect photo - isn't photoshop wonderful!
I can see why you love that photo - it has a feel of joy to it, and the way you blended it I never would have picked it was blurry, the texture works so well here, great job! Loved reading about your excitement to meet Erica and how you dedicated this collection to her first page... could be a theme there? Like the framed/lifted and blended picture trio it works so well :-)
