Friday challenge 16/12 Uncle Dave
I have so many stories to tell about Uncle Dave - but fewer than half a dozen photos of him. Maybe I have a goal for 2012 - to create an album just about him. TFL
Journaling
Uncle Dave was the youngest of my mother's 3 brothers. He loved two things in life - films and music. His much loved record collection introduced me to big bands and classical music - the things I still love today. His knowledge of film was remarkable. He would never leave the cinema until he had read all the credits.
Dave's artistic side showed in immaculate signwriting which he did for people in the village. But he was a perfectionist so people learned not to ask for anything in a hurry.
Dave was eccentric, pedantic, cantankerous and loud. but he was held in great affection by those who knew him.
