Semaphore is my local 'beach precinct' even though I live along a Peninsula with the ocean on one side and a river on the other... it is extremely busy in Summer as people come from all over Adelaide to cool off at the beach... I took these photos Tuesday night after we went out for tea and went for a walk along the jetty and along the foreshore... As you face the foreshore from the jetty you can see the lifesaving hut to the right, the Timeball Tower up high on a hill across the Esplanade and the Clock at the direct end of the jetty (the last 2 are heritage items). If you were able to see to the left you would see The Palais I have scrapped previously... it is a great spot :-)

Gorgeous Jode - absolutely lovely. You sure are making me want to come visit Adeleide! What a beautiful spot and your photos sure do it justice;

I love how you placed the larger one panoramic across the page and it's wonderful how the warm glow of the sun shines through. I also really like how you arranged the smaller photos and the sprinkling of sand all around. I enjoyed reading your notes and learning all about your home town. Wonderful layout! :)

I love your photos! Lovely stacking and embellishments. I bought the glitter grunge brush set because it always looks so good on your pages, but I haven't mastered them yet. They add lovely textural interest here. I like your quote, too!

It does look like a great place. Love the photos and enjoyed reading all about the area.I like the photo going all the way across the top with the little photos below.
