I see I'm not the only contributor to this challenge that has an automotive theme! The photos are of my DS on the last day of his work experience at the car auction, Manheim's. He loved being in among the cars and hated just about every other job he tried while he was there. He talked about the place so much that for a while we called him Manheim Matt! TFL

Journaling
In July 2002 Matt did his work experience. The location couldn’t be better - Manheim, the local car auction. For 2 weeks he moved around the various departments of the business, including the auction room itself where he was allowed to act as auctioneer . By far his favourite experience was working in the yard in among the cars. On the last day his boss, Jerry allowed Matt to drive a Jaguar X type around the yard.
