Week 2 is done - I find it hard to remember until I look at the photos so this is a great record of our year! And I am glad I decided not to write paragraphs - this suits me better... I normally say way too much so this limits me!

Lovely two-page spread, Jode and I think I might "idea-lift" and not write paragraphs as you did - good thinking! I like your photos on one side and the text on the other and I really like the words going vertical as well as horizontal. I also like your use of white background - I never think of that and it looks great! Your pics are wonderful and looks like a fun week! And, it's SO nice to see playing in water and warmth - 13 degrees here right now which is 19 degrees below freezing. Brrrrrrrr!!!! Super layouts! :)

I just love this! What a great way to get "snippits" of your week 2. I really love the wordart stitched to the photos. Very clever!

I love how this is progressing; you've hit on a perfect mix of text and pictures! Love those waterslide photos. This looks great in the square format -- I might still change mine -- though I discovered that publishing for me is cheaper if I make the book 8x11 (inches) which I guess is a little smaller than A4 and also slightly smaller than the 8 1/2 x 11 template. And I don't have a lot of photos, since there are no lively kids in the house! :) Anyway.... I LOVE this!

Wow, this is beautiful, and such a great way to capture the memories. In addition to not being wordy, the phrases capture the "on the run, life keeps moving" sense that we live with. What a great, light, cheerful layout; the blues and soft yellows on white are wonderful, and so fresh-looking.

Jode, this is fabulous! I love the way you've journaled - love the kind of timeline you used and the placement of everything makes for such a well balanced layout. I found your layout very interesting to read and look at and it really captivated my attention. Creative and a fabulous way of capturing your week - you got so much on the layout but the white space you were able to use really makes for the perfect layout. Another Jode masterpiece! I love it!

I really like this - it is well balanced with the word art white space and the pictures. Are you doing the word art on the left yourself or using a template? I'd really like to try that and am not sure how. Yours is so nicely done.
