JumpStart January -- "Winter Sunset"

I tried using different light settings on my camera and flash, non-flash, fill-flash, etc..

PS I did not used a mask on the photo as some people noted - I used Brandy Murry's Background blender bruses as an eraser. :)

For this layout I used:

ASO Winter Magic Collection Mini

ASO Winter Magic Alpha

BMU Dynamic Brush Set: Background Blenders

SG TXT LD Monique Font

Journaling reads:

Walking outside one frosty evening, I was greeted by this gorgeous Winter sunset. I grabbed my camera, played with different light settings and this was the result! I was pleased with my impromptu photo shoot.

Never heard of some of those settings! I think that is just a wonderful sunset captured there though - the colours are so vivid! They really pop off the page against the blue... I love the drippy title and the little ledge it sits on... great work!!:2468who-do-we-appreciate:

Beautiful Marilyn. What a gorgeous winter sunset you caught. It looks lovely on that icy blue background paper. I love all the swirls and snowflakes. Great job of blending the photo.

So lovely. The trees silhouette is striking with the beautiful pink sunset. Love the mask you used.

Gorgeous photo! I'm so glad you braved the cold for that magnificent shot. I love the combination of the sunset photo with the icy blue background. Very cool (hee hee) title, too. I also like the way the wintery looking swirls go across the page along with the snowflakes. Great page!

Wow! I'm just now getting a moment to browse the JJ gallery, and was really looking forward to enjoying your latest work. And wow! Not disappointed! The photo is just magnificent--brilliant and crisp. I can almost smell the fresh air. Excellent!
