Finally getting caught up! These flowers were found on the shore of Lake Michigan near Charlevoix, MI. I have no idea what they are, but they were precious and tiny! Supplies in EXIF.

Beautiful yellow flowers. Your choice of black is especially lovely and dramatically brings attention to your photos. I really like the quote and heartily agree with it!

This is eye catching - the dark background makes those little guys really pop! Love the simplicity of this LO, great quote too!

Wonderful layout. The yellow against black looks just like the plates in my Audubon wildflower field guide - except this species isn't included. When I saw your lovely close-up photos, I had to go look them up. A Guide in Full Color to Wildflowers and Weeds by Courtenay & Zimmerman confirms my first impression that they are a sedum of some kind, probably Sedum acre, which grows in sandy or rocky soil and blooms in June & July. They're most likely garden escapees. I've had similar varieties in strawberry pots on my deck. I love the quote you used - I may scraplift it!

Gorgeous photos! I noticed that jhbren seems to have identified the flowers. They are new to me and I loved seeing your pictures of them. I love your arrangement with the large and small photos and the simple striking black background and contrast text. Absolutely beautiful!
