Chinese New Year Series - Layout 1

Chinese New Year Series - Layout 1

i'm planning a series of 4 layouts for my Chinese New Year photos this year. This is the first one. To translate, Gugu means aunt, specifically the father's sister. Joyjoy and Neko-chan are of course pet names for my kids, who actually wear more proper sounding names than that! The Chinese character means spring.

Supplies list:
Background: Correen Silke, 'Winter Romance'
Patterned paper: Rachel Dickson, 'Soleil'
Flourishes: Delicious Scraps, 'Mangolicious'
Brads: Amy Teets, 'Sunporch'
Gold glitter: Marisa Lerin
Flowers: snagged off a photo i took of my relatives' CNY decorations
Pussy willow: my MIL's!

What a fun page! I love your photo. The glittered Kanji is fantastic, as is the oriental-style paper. Lovely!
That glorious red caught my attention when I was about to comment on one of your other layouts. Gorgeous! Great photo, too -- and I love your happy embellishments. Lovely page!
Thats a lovely photo. I like the glitter in the title and the colors.
