The text reads like this:

This came from a box of old photographs that my mother gave to me. Yes, the girl in the navy skirt is me. This was myDaisy Girl Scout troop marching in a parade. I’m guessing that this was the Fall Festival Parade. I am also estimating that I was either in Kindergarten or First grade. That

would date this photo at about 1983-1984.This is right on Main Street, Elsberry. You can see LaCrosse Lumber in the backround. It sat at the corner of

Broadway and 5th for decades.

Great photo Heather, and I LOVE how you blended it into that paper as well as using hte smaller version, I love that technique :-) Your flowers look totally different here to your wedding layout, don't you just love that about digital!!? I think the warm colours in this page are just gorgeous :-)

Very cool photo! I love how you blended it into the background - love the golden color, too. I like your journaling, too as well as the great cluster you used on the smaller photo. And, of course,... the daisy.

Wonderful layout Heather! I really like that you enlarged the photo and used it for your background. Great journaling and I love the embellishments too. Thanks for taking part in the challenge!

That photo blended into the background is really stunning. I love the colors of your layout. Very nicely laid out. Pretty cluster.

What a great photo! I love how you blended it into the background, but also included a smaller, full-color version. The daisy flowers are, of course, the perfect embellishments! And this is the building you scrapped about the other day that was torn down? A shame, but at least it lives on in photos.
