I'm late posting this, but the theme for this challenge was butterflies. This is my husband's great-grandmother with her first two children. The little girl in the pendant is the daughter of the little girl in the main photo. This is the only photo that I've seen of Mary Isabelle where she had a hint of a smile. I think life became harder for her after this photo was made. TFL!

What a treasure of a photo! I love the nostalgic way you've shown it -- actually both of them. Very tender and sweet. The butterflies looks great on the page along with the other lovely embellishments.

We all talk about the 'Good old days', but I think life was pretty hard in those days. I love your old photos and the story behind them. The envelope is pretty. Lovley layout.

Wondered when I missed this but it was when I went to sydney, shame though cos it IS fabulous and well worthy of a layout of the week appearance in the newsletter!! Wonderful photo and I liked how you added your husbands mum's photo too so we can see the link... And the family likeness... Glad you have one of Mary Isabelle smiling! Gorgeous heritage embellishments and colours and the butterflies look so pretty here :-)
