This is for my Thursday "Keep it Simple" challenge - one photo, one paper, one embellishment. I chose a paper with lots of variation and texture, enlarged my photo to make it the focal point, added multiple copies of the same snowflake embellishment, then added a title and shadows. The trim along the photo is actually the ~~ symbol in a chunky font, with a style added. And the texture on the title comes from the background paper, which I clipped to my font.

And yes, the photo is me - this was my first experience with snow. I was about 1-year old.

Supplies:

Snowbound Collection Mini

Glitzy Blue Collection Mini

Wow- it's amazing what you did with just a couple of items. This looks fabulous! Great photo - she is adorable. I love the winter-looking blue background and all the snowflakes. Thanks for explaining that very cool technique for a photo frame. Must give that a try.

So cute! I really like the effect youve created along the edges of the photo. Such a great challenge today - we've all had to think very hard.

This is such a cute photo. I think the way you made the 'frame' around the photo is so clever, Lovely layout.

Oh, you were adorable! It really doesn't look like a simple layout at all. The paper and snowflakes go perfectly with your photo. The "frame" is really neat! I'll have to experiment with that sometime. Such a fun page!
