Text reads:Ms Davis' kindergarten class took a fieldtrip to the Woodland Park zoo in Seattle. They rode a school bus there, and for some kids, this was a new experience in itself. They brought their lunch and explored the zoo in small groups, ending at the petting zoo where they got to have some hands-on contact with farm animals, including donkeys and sheep. Afterwards they learned how to make felt. When they got back to school, they each drew a picture of their day at the zoo and had a parent help them write down a memory of their experience. Then each child's photo and art creation was added to a powerpoint presentation with each child introducing themselves and reading their paragraph. What a treasure as a parent to go back and see your child at such a young age and be able to hear their voice talk about what they saw. Priceless.
