Dec Sketch Challenge: Long overdue Easter Kitties

This was Calliope's first Easter with us, and Dakota's last. At just about a year of age, Calliope's youthful curiousity and exhuberance seemed to catching. Our 19 year old Big Kitty, Dakota wanted to get right in there for some attention too. She really seemed to enjoy herself as much as Little Calliope!

I love watching kitties play with their toys! There's something very touching about an old kitty that still wants to play. I'm sorry Dakota is no longer with you, but it sounds like she had two decades of love. The photos are sweet and entertaining. The pinwheel is the perfect accent. Such a happy Easter memory!

Awwww, the cats are so cute and curious - how cool that your older cat had the kitten brought out in her with the antics of the younger cat. I love the springy colors (as I look out on a winter wonderland here in Iowa, which I also love btw, lol) and the pinwheel is great! It almost looks like the wind blew the photos to the corners of the page, so there is a great sense of movement here.

How sweet - so sorry Dakota is no longer with you but it sounds like she was a healthy, happy kitty & lived a long, full life. What a special way to remember her & her young kitty buddy.

Jaymee - how did I miss this one, sorry! Adorable photos - so funny how that little one got the older one going! I really like the way you arranged the pics and your cheerful "easter egg" type pastel background. Great layout!
