In today's Newsletter tutorial, What are Blending Modes, Syndee Nuckles suggested following along by opening a background paper and photo. That is what I did and ended up with this layout. Supplies are in EXIF file

In case you can't read the journalling, it is about my one year old grandson finding some thread that belonged to my Mother. She passed away last fall, so seeing her thread brought back a lot of memories for me. By the time he was born, she was too sick to know him, so seeing him play with her thread helped connect him to her for me.

Such a sweet page. Love your sweet blended photo and special journaling! I also really like how you used the stitching around the page and connected to "LOVE"!

Loving the blending in this LO. He is such a cutie and I bet he had a great time with the spools and all that thread! It's a great title and very moving journaling xxx TFS
