Hi Jane! Ziti is a type of pasta, it's tube shaped. You could easily substitute with penne or whatever you have on hand - that's what I do! As long as it comes out hot and edible, I am happy!

Jane, it's funny - my sister is in the middle of the USA and she can't find different kinds of pasta like we can in the East. I often have to ship her the different varieties!
