Saturday 2-18-12 Challenge -- Ocellated Turkey

Saturday 2-18-12 Challenge -- Ocellated Turkey

I got this photo from the American Bird Conservancy website. I get emails from them every week and the photos are so interesting and some birds I have never even heard of. This is one of those birds. The Ocellated Turkey is a cousin of the American Wild Turkey. But this one is so colorful, unlike our rather plain turkeys.

Supplies Used:
ASO A Blooming Fancy Collection -- Paper 12x12 Floral Pink
ASO A Blooming Fancy Bases Paper Mini -- Paper 5 (pink)
ABL Birdsong Collection -- Alphas
MJO Planet Earth Collection -- Butterfly
JRE Butterfly Kisses Collection -- Border

Wow - can you imagine coming across one of those in person? We have a lot of regular brown turkeys around here, but I've never seen anything like this bird! I like the colorful background you gave it, and, I always enjoy your good info.
What an incredible looking bird. Youve isolated the colourful photo from the bg pattern really well so that they each compliment each other. Great job.
    Cool photo!
