Well... It's not my favorite LO, but I am very proud that I stayed the course, kept up in the chat and finished this page not long after the chat ended. Big achievement past my usual over-thinking of every tiny piece!

Thanks, Carla and please tell your DD her tasks were fun and she did a GREAT job! I'm so happy I was able to follow them. :)

For this layout I used:

SNU By the Sea Collection

BMU Coastal Collection Biggie

MRE SS Emb Inked Frames

I love this - I think this was a great one for the challenge b/c the carefree nature of a beach vaca fits the carefree nature of a you-must-do-this-in-an-hour-and-not-overthink-everything page;)

Marilyn, I over-think every little piece in my layouts, too! That's why you don't see too many of them here, LOL. I think this is AMAZING for a one-hour layout! I love the aqua, the seashell background, and the little embellishments. Mattie and Alli look so cool in their shades, too. You did a great job!

LOVE the way you've framed your pics Marilyn! I love the piece of background paper you used - the aqua one - it looks like pieces of sea glass to me and perfect embellies! Nicely done, my friend!

I haven't seen the requirements yet for the Speed Scrap but I love this page! The balance is just right and the colours are gorgeous.... the kids do look cool and the photos of them tell a wonderful story... I like the gold embellishments against the aqua, it reflects the gold at the fountain and really jumps off the page... that 'written on" backing paper is fabulous too... Wonderful page, especially for a Speed scrap!

I love the tropical colors and totally vacation look of your layout! Wow - I can't believe you did this in a speed scrap!! It's lovely, I especially like the cool frames you used as well as that gorgeous shell cluster. Wow again!

Simple and lovely! I like the stain/frames you used to put focus on the photos. The little cluster of sea elements with the rope behind and that fun blue paper adds a nautical feel. Great page!
