Today's challenge was to scrap about the contents of your purse.

 

EDIT: Photographing the contents of my purse provided me a good opportunity to clean it out!

 

Journaling:

My purse is my daily survival bag. It contains all of the necessities (and probably more) that I might need for my the bus commutes to/from work, during my time at the office, and for any errands I might run after work. On any given day, my purse contains the following: My wallet, cell phone, cell phone charger cord, makeup, Kindle, bunch of keys, pocket calendar, bus pass, bus schedules, taiko songsheets, a medium composition notebook, assorted pens and pencils, packs of gum, small umbrella (or large one, if rain is forecasted), hand lotion, headband and mini hair clip, packet of Kleenex, pocket mirror, and an assortment of Chap Sticks and lip glosses. My purse usually also contains my lunchbox for work, any dirty dishes I’m bringing home from the office, and probably a couple grocery tote bags. It’s a good thing I like big roomy handbags! Although sometimes I do feel like Mary Poppins!

You make it all look so neat and tidy Theresa! My little tiny bag holds far more junk than your big bag holds treasures! Lovely colours and I enjoyed reading your journalling, fun page!

I love this! Your journaling is wonderful, and you actually made everything fit into ONE photo! :blink: Pretty layout; I especially like the colors and the embellishments you used.

Wow, Theresa - that sounds like a SUITCASE, not a purse! I'm impressed you carry so much (ever tried a backpack? heehee) and make it look so easy! I enjoyed your journaling and your photo is great! I really like how you placed your journaling and photo and your embellishment cluster is so beautiful. Really wonderful page - I enjoyed looking and reading through it. And, fun challenge! :)

That's a neat cluster & the grungy border goes great with it. Neat design with the strip of journaling & the cluster wrapped around the top. I see you pack a Kindle - me too!

It sounds like you need someone to carry your bag for you. Must be so heavy. Love the layout, embellishments and the journaling that goes down the middle of the page.
