March Swap Crop for BELLE

Belle sent me some pictures and a fascinating story about this unassuming little plant... which could revolutionise environmental impact and green efforts in South Africa (and via a trickle effect-the world)... What a great idea for the GREEN swap! These were so much fun to work with that I did this page the day I got the photos and then just tweaked last night, thanks Belle!!

Oh my goodness Jody what a wonderful layout - I love the blended photo clustered with Belle's 2 smaller photos, the ribbon AND the way you placed Belle's interesting facts AND what a lovely gift for the guests of the wedding --- love both the layout and the journaling!

Well Jode, I knew it would be just perfect. I really love the blending, colors and the way you did the journaling. I also love the fact that you blended the CO2 picture into the background showing the carbon footprint. The ribbon and title is lovely and the placing of the photos very well done. Thank you. I could not have done it better. Really, really love it.

Great job Jody (as always)! You made the journaling important and still a beatiful LO. Wonder if I can grow spekboom in Sweden?

How interesting. What a neat plant. I see the portulaca name, though & I think of the flowers my mom & her neighbor planted - tiny things, with odd little spike leaves but such pretty colors!

I like the way you've arranged the text here so it flows around the photos & kind of frames them.
