March Forum Game: Week 4 - "SINGl"
Not happy with this layout, but it's gotten to be like beating a dead horse so unless I start over......

Journaling reads:
Rachel was determined to do a "one woman show" for her 16th Birthday. So her voice teacher wrote her a musical and with the help of family and friends her dream came true! The "dinner theatre" was decorated in green and yellow with popcorn and candy on each table. Rachel performed beautifully and without hesitation and looked like she enjoyed herself. Afterwards there was dinner and lots of time to congratulate this special young woman. Her birthday request read on the invitation: "In lieu of gifts, Rachel will be collecting funds to benefit an arts project through the charitable organization..." I was so pleased to make both the invitation and program for the event - thanks to my scrapping skills! :)

Wow, what a special layout. Not only is Rachel apparently a gifted singer but she is confident, beautiful and charitable. I really like the soft musical paper blended nicely in the background.

Cherryyllaann said it beautifully in her comments about Rachel, what an inspiring young lady! Your colour choices here help tell the story and work well with the sample program... I do love how you imposed the photo of Rachel in her "room"... Just like in the show... Sounds like you were privy to a select performance by a star of the future... Loive the music in the paper too!

Marilyn I think this layout is absolutely beautiful - I love the extracted/blended photo, the elements you used AND I love your journaling --- Rachel is quite an amazing 16 year old, congrats to her for making this dream come true!

This is such a special layout, Marilyn for a special young woman. I love it! Rachel does look like she's enjoying herself, and I'm so glad all went well. I love the background photo, the musical notes on the page, the touch of gold, and everything else. Beautiful page!
