Found this fabulous photo in an email from the American Bird Conservancy that I get each week. It's a beautiful Trumpeter Swan just starting to take off in flight. I just had to do a layout on it.

What a gorgeous photo! I love the swirls in the background. They remind me of the water. Beautiful job!

Lovely, Reminds me of a magazine photo that inspired me in high school to paint a split complementary color art for my mom in her favorite color of purple. Swans were her favorite too, so the swan was graded lavenders and the background was lime green and yellow orange. Quite an inspiring image!
