Tues Freebie Challenge 10apr12

I played around with this photo of the filled in mine pit at Burra, I wanted to give it an old lake painting feel... I even tried Hilary's palette knife technique on it! I don't think it looks man made at all anymore :-)

Oooooooo. Very cool Jody. Love the photo treatment and the way the toned-down paper frames it so nicely. That quote is so meaningful. And I've already checked out that font you've got there. LOVE it all...as always!

OMG, Jode - this is gorgeous! Your outstanding photo looks like a painting for sure and the colors are so rich and beautiful. I really like the lovely quote you found to go with it and your background blending the photo into the freebie is stunning. Super layout - of such a pretty and interesting looking place! :)

This really does have the feel of an old lake painting with the pretty faded browns and greens. The depth perspective is great, I feel like I can see for miles and miles. Beautifully done and great use of the freebie.
