When we were in Sydney in February for the Harry Potter Exhibition there was a Wiggles exhibition on at the same time... BEFORE they were the Wiggles, the blue and purple Wiggles (Anthony and Jeff) used to be in a band with Anthony's brothers... The Cockroaches. This display was all Cockroaches memorabilia and so I had my photo taken in front of it and MMS'ed it to the girl I used to go to the concerts with who now lives in Melbourne! What a crack up!

Love the cluster and layers with your photos, and how they stand out so well against the black. Fun memory too.

Oh, this is so funny Jode! Amazing story about the Wiggles - who knew? And, that's a riot that you used to go see them. Love your expression in those great pics and I really like the black background with the white journaling. I also REALLY like all the many different pieces to your background and how you masterfully put them together - you do that so well!

Very funny story, Jody! I love your combination of stripes and zigzags, and the muted turquoise with the shades of hot pink that coordinate with the photos. Another graphic masterpiece!

As for the scars, no, I can't tell or even see them at this magnification. After my triple bypass, I refused to wear V-necks for a year, and looked for a high necked bathing suit, but couldn't find one that fit well. I decided it didn't matter if the scar showed. I'm alive, healthier than I was before the surgery, and each day is a new gift. If anybody asks, scars are evidence that we survived and are thriving.

What great journaling - and I love the strong contrast and all the zig-zags. Seems lots of us knew a band named the cockroaches - some (fortunately) never got past practicing in the garage! As for the scars, can't see them even when looking for them. You have come through strong and beautiful. I love the way you celebrate life!
