OK, I think I got pretty lucky with this one. I may not have chosen these papers and embellies to go together but I think I did my best. Fun challenge! Items used listed in the EXIF properties. TFL

The journaling reads, "This is me with my dear friend Randy. We grew up together, our parents were best friends. We both moved away from our small Iowa towns and lived in big cities. Randy loved life and lived it to the fullest. We both loved to come home to our roots and here we are together at Randy’s home for the Forth of July, a tradition at his house. Randy passed away last year. He was much too young and I miss him everyday. And when I think of him I am reminded that life is short, We need to live it to the fullest!"

I would never have picked those papers to go with those embellishments but it works so well, like Debi said it looks like you picked them. Fantastic job.

Looks great - the neutral paper between the lighter colors & the red paper pulls it together along with the red flower in the patterned paper echoing back to the red background. I like it! sweet journaling too - great way to continue to honor your friendship with Randy.
