Great photos and journaling! Love the stripes and bird's nest. I'm intrigued by the onion dryer - not sure what that might be. Sounds like a wonderful day spent with Matt!

The onion dryer is just a frame with chicken wire stretched across it. Used for our onions after we pull them out of the ground in the fall & let them sit out in the sun to dry before winter storage. We grow a lot of onions which last us all winter; the drying helps keep them from rotting since the water content of onions is so high. Just about finished with last year's crop & this year's is in the ground already, so we shouldn't have to buy any at all this year. Spent $2 on onion sets! And onions are a staple at our house -- also keeps our girls supplied too. That's onion for the year for three families!!!
Wow, Ann - thanks for the explanation and love your onion story - fascinating!
I really like your layout too - sweet journaling and photos and the blue heron is amazing - always love your gorgeous bird pics! And, Matt is so cute, too!
I love the colors and supplies used. Great photos and layout.
