Journaling:

What a start to Holy Week. As I lay in the hospital, subsisting on ice chips and taking photos with my phone to stave off boredom, Dave was at church directing the Palm Sunday cantata for me. Once home the next day we had a lunch date and tried out a deli close by. Chicken soup has never tasted so good! We packed up and mailed our granddaughter’s Easter gifts, too. The rest of the week I took it easy, but began getting out and about in time for our Symbolic Seder on Holy Thursday, our Good Friday service, and Baptism service the day before Easter. We baptised 27 adults and children that day! Pastor Marta used a small shell to dip into the water and gave one to each person. It was a stressful, tiring week not knowing whether or not I would relapse, but I was grateful to be home.

You certainly had a different sort of week. I do hope your health is better now. Your page of photos looks good.

Thanks Anne-Marie! I'm feeling much better, it turns out my gall bladder isn't quite functioning at 100%. We're hoping diet will keep it under control. :)

Oh my, not the way you were planning to spend Holy Week. Love the journaling and embellishments along the left side. Gallbladder problems can certainly knock you down. I certainly hope you will be well and back into full swing.

You got a lot of photos in one LO and the journaling is wonderful(all but the part about you being in the hospital!). Hope you are on the mend!

Definitely a week with ups and downs! I love the way you've scrapped it, however. Especially I like your background paper and the Holy Week embellishments.
