4/19 Heritage Crop

Love this Carla! I remember my great grandmother telling stories of when she was little. I do remember some of them, but I sure wish I could go back with a recorder and hear them again.

Love this - wow, that is going back a few generations! Love your photo - hats gave a person some distinction, I think. Like the torn paper background and the writing. My uncle took one of the old casette recorders and recorded my grandmother without her knowing (or else she forgot about it.) Some of her reminiscences and stories were hysterical. I converted it to digital audio, but now can't find it. I must go searching!

This is a lovely heritage page. I like how you have the photo and the two papers the same size. Is the chicken wire to depict they were farmers?
