April SS Club Garden

Vignette's are a stretch for me, but this month's Club has so many inspiring pieces that I really enjoyed making this LO. It was also a great way to scrap some of the photos I took recently at the Ringling Museum's grounds and rose garden. Info is in the exif.

By the way, in case you are looking for it in the exif, the lion statue on the table is one of my photos of a real statue on the grounds of the garden. TFL!

Oh, my Diane - this is lovely and you've really outdone yourself! What a beautiful vignette and good for you for working out of your comfort zone - I'm impressed! Wonderful way to display your gorgeous photos of the Ringling Gardens and I love how each one is framed so differently and pretty! So cool how the drape on the side makes me feel I'm "peeking" into this interesting world... I also really like the background and embellishments you used - especially the "R" for "Ringling" - how clever! But, what impresses me most is realizing that you did this layout using mostly this month's SS Club and I know that is all TEMPLATES so you had to color and "create" each piece as your own. WOW.... This is really truly amazing! Great layout and I'm so glad to see it. :)

Wow!!! I have this kit now I have subscribed (like you!) and haven't managed to make one page yet as it seems so complicated and so fiddly... but you did the most wonderful job here!!! I love love love that wallpaper, the colour is gorgeous... I would love that in my house!! Your bureau looks amazing... I really struggled with what to do with those plates but you have made them look so real and just right with the florals, they remind me of my grandma's... and that picture on the wall and the statue? I wanna go!!!! The Ringling property must be breathtakingly beautiful... great touch with the 'R' and the curtain over the window... it looks like a very elegant home with fancy finger sandwiches and fine bone china tea cups... just beautiful. And your ribbon is perfect :-)

Amazing! Your items on the table are all so interesting. The combination of frames, the "R", the plates and you statue are arranged beautifully. Need to check out the interiors collection you used - I needed curtains last night.

Beautiful design. The colors are so soft, rich and inviting. I love your vignette of the dresser adorned with such pretty photos and statues. The Lion is awesome. I like your Title held by the plate frame and the fern leaves defining the space with the ribbon. The Curtain was the first thing that caught my eye and I love how you put it together with the flowers holding it back in place. Your photos are so beautifully displayed in the frames. Such and impressive layout!

How amazing is your layout! It is incredible what we are capable of. I encourage to stretch yourself again soon. Look forward to seeing more of your 'stretches'. :)

And it's so believable. You have managed to keep your perspective so right-on target. Your choice of colors is so rich and elegant and I love the red drape pulled back and tied with flowers and a ribbon. Placing the extracted lion statue just makes this layout all come together. And come together it does, perfectly!

You say it's a stretch, but you did a great job on it. Are you sure this isn't a wall in your house? I like the touch of the lion statue, great use of your own photo!
