"Henry Morrison Flagler envisioned and funded the construction of the Florida Keys Over-Sea Railroad connecting mainland Florida with the Florida Keys. The inaugural train from Miami pulled into Key West terminal January 22, 1912."

Spent the weekend in Key Largo and snapped a bunch of pictures. This is a new mural in the area celebrating the Flagler Centennial. Love the nostalgic look and the "Man in the Moon".

Love the perspective on this which your border accentuates. I agree, the man in the moon is cool, Flagler, I assume. Great shades of blue and green - great LO.

OMG Cheryllann this is stunning! The colors are so rich and pretty and your photo is gorgeous. I love your background blending and the font and colors you used and your journaling is so interesting. I also really love the perspective and the train coming right out of the page - amazing! I keep looking through all the different parts over and over again and each time find something more wonderful to look at. Great layout! :)

Great photo placement and love the way you have it bordered. Also really like the way the journalling parallels the border, and your choice of background. Actually there isn't anything I don't like!

This is so cool! I love the nostalgic look of both the mural and the man in the moon. Love the borders you've used, too. And great tropical blues!

That's a beautiful mural! I really love the colors of it - perfect for this color challenge! I like the use of angles on your layout, the metal trim along the edge of the photo, and the way you highlighted the moon portrait with its own frame. Thanks for joining the challenge, and giving us all a little history lesson :)
